Set atop the slope that gives Karuna its outstanding ocean views, sits our “Lumbung Sasak” a traditional Indonesian style home in Lombok, made for us in Java from teak wood and Merbau, spiced up with some modern design elements like Kitchenstairs and a loft.  Our Lumbung 2, designed by us, made in Surabaya, is entirely made of wood, not one piece of concrete nor hollow block and is 9 meter long and 5 meter wide with a gable height of 6 meter.  Every piece of furniture, made of old boat wood, was sourced in Jogjakarta, hand made to our specification for your pleasure and relaxation.

You sleep in the loft in a king-size bed, you chill on a 10sqm porch overlooking the Bacuit Bay or prepare Merienda (snack) in your full featured kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, coffee machine and assorted kitchenware.  An oversized backlit Mandala in the loft
