Dear Guests,

Here at Karuna El Nido Villas, we do our best to make your stay memorable and comfortable. To provide such experience, we have set up some guidelines which are also considered as part of our reservation agreement with you.
Reservation and Cancellation Policy: Upon confirmation of booking,
NO REFUND for any cancellation unless agreed upon by the Property.

Check-in time is 3:00PM. Check-out time is 12:00 noon. If you require an early check in or later check-out, please contact Front Desk one day prior. We will do our best to accommodate your request.  A charge may apply.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE:   Karuna El Nido Villas is privately owned and operated.  We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason(s) that does not violate Philippine laws.  Karuna has a zero tolerance policy in which we will refuse service or accommodation in our hotel or may remove a person, without refund, who refuses to abide by the reasonable standards and policies established by the Resort.

Karuna will refuse service or evict a guest for refusal or failure to pay for accommodations, is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other intoxicating substance and acts in a disorderly fashion as to disturb the peace of other guests; is unable to properly supervise their children at all times, seeks to use the hotel for an unlawful purpose; seeks to bring into the hotel an unlawfully possessed firearm or something, including an explosive or hazardous or toxic substance, that is unlawful to possess and that may be dangerous to other persons; destroys, damages, defaces, or threatens harm to hotel property or guests; and permits persons to exceed the maximum allowable occupancy of room

CHILD POLICY:
One 0-4 years old child stays for free if sharing existing bed with parents. No breakfast included.
0-2 years old child can avail a crib. 
5-7 years old: considered adult Php 2,000/night inclusive of single bed, towel set and breakfast.
Please be informed that: Second 0-4 years old child will be countered as an adult.

DEPOSIT: A hotel deposit of P1,000 /night will be asked upon check-in. This can be used as payment for incidentals while staying at the resort. Reimbursement of any unused deposits will be made 24 hours from check-out time.

VISITORS: For the protection of our guests, all visitors are required to register with the Front Desk. Beyond 9:00 p.m., only registered guests are allowed to stay in the Resort premises. The guest will have to pay the extra person fee if needed be. Visitors must be accompanied by the registered guest at all times.  Visitors are not allowed to use the swimming pool unless they pay day pass fee.  As a registered guest, you are responsible for your visitor at all times.

ROOM KEY:       When leaving the resort, please leave your key at the Reception. Lost keys will be charged (1000php) to the account of the guest.

ROOM MAKE UP,DO-NOT DISTURB, AND ACCESS TO ROOMS:
We strive to deliver a clean and safe experience. To attain this, we provide daily housekeeping.  The Housekeeping Staff is required to enter the room at subsequent times to clean the room, check for safety, and verify the condition of the room.  Management reserves the right to enter a room with a known status of “DO NOT DISTURB” for reasonable purposes, such as an emergency, housekeeping, maintenance, verify that the room, its furnishings, and mechanical equipment are intact, or to address or prevent a violation of our Hotel Policy/House Rules. In the event of suspected illegal activity, Management reserves the right to summon law enforcement to aid in eviction.  The right to privacy ends when a Hotel Policy/House Rule is broken.  Law enforcement will be granted immediate access to hotel property and rooms of evicted guests.

Room make-up is daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. only.

LINEN CHANGING: Your convenience is important to us. As an environmentally-conscious resort, bed linen and towel sets are changed on a rotation schedule: on the 3rd night of stay.  Pool towel is available at The Pool. Any lost/ damaged linens/towels will be charged 1000. If somehow you want to change your linens and towels before the 3rd day of stay, we charge 500php/set. 

SAFETY BOX: Each room is equipped with a safety deposit box. Please keep your valuables in it. Karuna is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

LOST & FOUND POLICY

Guest Belongings: Guests are particularly requested to lock the door of their rooms when going out or going to bed. For the convenience of the Guest, safety lockers are provided in the room to store any valuables.

PRIVACY: Guests are not allowed to use their rooms for any purposes other than normal, peaceful residence. No disturbance of peace from 10:00pm to 7:00am., gambling or any breach of the laws are prohibited.

PARKING AT OWN RISK: All vehicle(s) must be listed on the registration at check-in.  Parking for registered guest(s) is free.  All vehicles are parked at the risk of the owner.  Karuna shall not assume liability or responsibility for any vehicle, occupants, or contents while operated or parked on the hotel property. No vehicle repairs on hotel premises.

DAMAGE/MISSING ITEMS: Damages and loss of items in the room shall be charged to the guest’s account.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE: Bringing in of food and beverage items inside you room is allowed.  Cooking inside your room is allowed.

PETS :Pets are permitted in the hotel premises. Owner will be responsible for its behavior and damages that may incur.

WATER: DO NOT drink the tap water. We have provided free drinkable water in your room. Please ask the Reception if you will need more.

ELECTRICITY: Electric current is 220 volts.

LIGHTS AND APPLIANCES: We encourage everyone to participate in in conserving energy. Please turn off lights, TV, and aircon, when you leave your unit.

TOILET: Toilet plumbing on the island is very sensitive. Please do not throw items in the toilet as the pipes will get clogged, and the toilet will not flush. Kindly use the bins provided.

SMOKING: Smoking cigarettes and even medical marijuana inside the room and any public areas are prohibited.

Eco-Friendly: We encourage guests to conserve water and electricity, as well as to recycle. Plastic bottles and other non biodegradeable materials should be disposed properly.

Treatment of the Resort Staff: Please treat Karuna staff politely. Staff can make mistakes. This should not be an excuse to be rude or to yell at them. Be courteous. It makes for a more pleasant experience for everyone.
