Great views, Friendly staff.
The facilities and amenities were great. You can’t beat the picturesque views. I enjoyed the Bali-style decor. You can book tours directly through them, which was a bonus. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, though most days, they had at least 1-2 items from the menu unavailable. The transportation to town was complimentary as it was a 30 minute walk into the downtown. There are other forms of transportation for hire though. You just have to walk down the hill. Relatively new Glamping Villa Experience
My kids were very happy to experience glamping for the first time in the relatively new glamping villas of Karuna El Nido. Their staff were helpful and accommodating, the food was always satisfying and transportation was provided for guests who wanted to explore other parts of El Nido. Being new, of course there is still a lot of room for improvement in terms of smooth and more excellent service. Having a great view also means it is high up on a hill and when you want to eat in their dining hall, there are a lot of steps to tackle on the stairs. Be ready. Also, this becomes a little bit of inconvenience when it rains. Because it was raining a lot of times when we were there, we did not get to enjoy the outside facilities provided in our villa. There was also some construction work ongoing just below our space so of course that was inconvenient too. The roads are being paved so be ready to tread through muddy roads. Excellent Stay
We were a family of 6 when we traveled to El Nido and we booked the Pool Villa in Karuna and were simply blown away by the place. The room had an amazing view, the rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, great amenities, and service was excellent. They provided transportation to and from the town, and all you needed to do was message them through Whatsapp and they were very quick with replying back. All the staff were attentive to your needs, and everyone knew how to do their job well. There were also very clear expectations with the hotel rules, and they were true to their word. When they say they'll be there at 9pm to pick you up, they will be there at 9pm to pick you up. We will gladly stay at Karuna again given the opportunity. If you want a stress-free trip to El Nido, I recommend booking their roundtrip transportation if you are flying into Puerto Princesa, and booking tours with them.

Very nice hotel with great rooms, but a few minus points
Very nice room with a nice design, spacious, clean, with an outside shower, great view of Bacuit Bay, hourly shuttle service to El Nido center, nice pool with a nice restaurant area, no gym, no laundry service (but you can get it done cheaply in the village), friendly staff, but a little overwhelmed in the restaurant and not as helpful as in other places ATTENTION: loud dog barking almost all night long, which kept us awake at times Breakfast included does not mean included - you can choose a menu (e.g. granola), a second menu has to be paid for (the prices for this are around CHF 8 per additional menu), coffee refills are available once (you pay after that)

A Haven of Peace Nestled in Nature
This establishment is a true gem, nestled in nature with breathtaking views of the sea and magnificent sunsets. This resort, designed on a human scale, provides an intimate and warm atmosphere. We were particularly impressed by the attention paid to maintaining the lush vegetation of the gardens, which contributes to the undeniable charm of the place. The hospitality and service offered by the hotel staff greatly exceeded our expectations. Always attentive, they demonstrated incredible responsiveness, attuned to our every need. The quality of the food matched the high standards of the rest of the services, delighting our taste buds. The proximity to the beaches is an undeniable advantage, allowing us to fully enjoy the assets of the region. As a bonus, the hotel offers a free shuttle service to the city centre, greatly facilitating travel. However, a word of caution to individuals with reduced mobility: the complex is very hilly with many stairs, which could make certain movements challenging. In summary, we had a memorable stay at this resort, both for the beauty of the landscapes and the exceptional quality of service. Great views and suites
Amazing views from rooms and infinity pool. Very steep driveway up but to get do provide shuttle services both into yuan and simply up the driveway. You will be grateful for that. Food at the pool is good, not great. Staff is helpful and polite. Will be among the best stays you have as the accommodations are outstanding. The hotel is super well located, super quiet, the pool is incredible, it has one of the best sunsets on the island, the food and breakfast are great, the rooms are simply huge, super cozy, very functional for the beach. The only problem is a lot of stairs to the room, which is bad for those who are old. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Excellent. The best accommodation we have ever been to. We were in one of the joglos, much nicer than it looks in photos, the view is totally incredible. You have free transportation all day around the island. Very friendly staff. The restaurant very good.
