The service was excellent, the staff was warm and helpful, and everything was well taken care of. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and the relaxing atmosphere. Inconveniente: estuvimos en una villa de dos habitaciones, las escaleras para subir la habituación son peligrosas, muy altas y sin barandilla lo mismo pasa para subir a la villa desde la calle, unas altas escaleras. La zona de piscina es muy chula y todo el entorno super bien cuidado, desayunos bien. El personal es muy agradable, sobretodo ña chica que nos atendió en recepción que tb nos comento que era la de masajes. Inconvenientes: esta todo lleno de escaleras y cuestas, aunke hay una van del hotel a las 22h ya no esta disponible y comodo de llegar a nuestro alojamiento que para colmo estaba arriba del todo pues no es, a excepcion de esto y de los Gekkos q no para de gritar , el sitio es estupendo, no me importaria volver.Posted onTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had a terrific stay at Karuna this week and can’t rave more about this beautiful property. From some of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen, to an infinity pool overlooking the view, and massage. The entire property is built around the view, which for me, I loved. The staff was also incredibly resourceful and terrific. Especially Ellen at the front desk, super responsive, always very polite and very helpful. 5/5 for her as well. The staff were top notch and the views are unbeatable. If you're looking to splurge a bit while on vacation, this is the place to go well in El Nido. Transportation to and from the airport was seamless (although for extra charge). Check in, signing up for tours, everything was seamless. Had great inclusive breakfast options, and many amenities on site. There's hourly shuttles to town and being picked up was super easy. Staff were communicative via WhatsApp and we pretty much had the best time. We booked the Pool Villa and it came with many perks. Our shuttle drop offs from town made it easy for us to get to our villa because the property itself has a lot of stairs. Things to watch out for (but we didn't mind as guests in our 30s: - Lots or stairs and not very accessible - You're in the heart of nature; you'll encounter geckos, their droppings, evening chirps, mosquitoes, and potentially monkeys on or in certain parts of your accommodations. - the washrooms are outside so there's more exposure to nature (with great views) but warm or easily wet from rain We would definitely come back - got to catch the intercity hotel basketball game for El Nido which the resort staff were participating and we wouldn't have known if they didn't tell us. Muy cerca del pueblo, pero lo suficientemente apartado para tener paz, y con unas increíbles vistas de la zona. El equipo del hotel trabaja muy bien, y sus servicios son impecables. La comida, de calidad, preparada con cariño, y por supuesto deliciosa. Y por último, las villas son muy bonitas, bien construidas, con todos los servicios (wifi, aire acondicionado, ducha, fuente de agua potable, cocina...) Shout out to Sarifa, Diana and Ellen! TVs had Netflix which was a nice addition. Massage treatments were very relaxing.

VIews to die for and an oasis in the trees, Karuna is set amongst tropical forest and overlooking beautiful Corong-Corong just outside El Nido township. The suites and villas are classically appointed and the whole property is beautifully laid out. THe staff are welcoming and helpful and the amenities suited to all. A spa, pool and restaurant and bar all on site and nicely situated within the resort property. Happy hour daily as you soak up the last of the sun and wait for the stunning views of sunset over the water. Several types of rooms (Lumbung A Frame Villas were beautiful with a balcony where breakfast could be taken just outside your room to enjoy the fresh air and the morning vistas). Transport to and from the town is available as are airport transfers. Great location to getaway and certainly blessed with wonderful staff who really do care for their guests! The rooms, the beds, the pillows were amazing, it was exactly what you would want after a long travel day to El Nido. The staff were very warm and helpful. The front desk was very attentive and responsive on WhatsApp and helped us as soon as possible when we needed anything. We had a floating breakfast on one of our days and it was the best! The spa was also really nice and the ladies that did our massages were super friendly and good! Our shuttle drivers were super useful, and friendly!! We recently stayed at Karuna El Nido Villas in one of their new Lumbung Villas overlooking the ocean—and it was a truly memorable experience. The views from the villa are breathtaking, especially at sunset. The resort is located on a fairly steep hill, which can be a bit of a workout to climb—especially in the heat, even during the evening. Thankfully, Karuna offers a complimentary tuk-tuk service to and from the town, which made getting around super convenient. The restaurant on-site serves good food with a decent variety. Unfortunately, I fell ill on our third day, but even with that hiccup, we still made the most of our stay and felt well taken care of. Nearby restaurants offer a wide choice of local cuisine. The infinity pool is absolutely stunning—easily one of the highlights. It tends to get a bit busier later in the afternoon, but we were lucky enough to often have it completely to ourselves, which made it feel extra special. One thing to note is the presence of geckos, which are quite common in the area. We had one "serenading" us every night! The noise can be a little surprising (or even slightly disturbing) at first, but it’s part of the natural surroundings and nothing the resort can control. Personally, we took it as part of the local charm. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always making us feel welcome and comfortable. All in all, Karuna El Nido Villas is a beautiful place to relax, enjoy nature, and take in the amazing views. Three of us stayed for three nights in the 2 bedroom pool villa at Karuna El Nido Villas. The entire experience was exemplary. Comfortable rooms with gorgeous views of El Nido, with complementary hourly shuttle service taking you to and from the main town (which is about a 5-10 minute tuktuk ride away). When you arrive you currently have to call an intercom to have staff pick you up and take you to the villas via a steep hill via tuktuk (the road to the villas are currently being repaired). Initially it does appear sketchy but is completely fine.
