The staff was super friendly all the time - always saying hey and good day while smiling. I unfortunately didn’t feel well for part of my stay and they were nice enough to take me to and from the clinic. There’s a free shuttle into town hourly. It’s also close to a bunch of sunset bars! The food at the restaurant was really good too & very affordable. Recommend the Turon dessert for something sweet! There’s an outdoor table with an umbrella and a hammock overlooking the view which is peerrrfect for sunset! The inside room has everything you’d need. You even get your own huge thing of water that they come and refill anytime. Only two personal cons: the wifi was not good (but they do warn that in the pamphlet) and the shower never got hot - just warm. It was loud for noise. But I feel anywhere you’d stay in el nido would have this problem. There’s so many bars that blast music or karaoke so it’s probably unavoidable. It does quiet down by midnightish though in this area. So better than the main part. Also, lots of roosters around (everywhere) ha. Fantastic staff, super clean with gorgeous views and shuttle into town. The steep driveway provided us with a good workout in the morning. We had a great stay at Studio Premier 5. Great property and view is alone worth the money. Be wary bathroom is the open (but has privacy). You will have the few off bugs biting you at night and dawn but overall you will enjoy syncing with nature. Food options were good and although not exhaustive but I have had good tasty and decent number of vegetarian options. I also booked airport transfers, private island hopping (tour B), and a massage and each of them was fantastic. We had the villa on the mountain with the best view overlooking the sea view, especially the sunsets. The view is honestly very beautiful. We had the privacy and comfort that we needed away from the night house music, crowded streets, etc. Although the mountain was a bit high and the road wasn't finished yet, but the hotel had a car service back and forth to the town at very convenient hours. The restaurant had a cozy ambiance and very good staff. The free breakfast was well done. Truly very happy about that. Happy hour is at a low price. The hotel also arranged the island hopping tour for us. And the staff are very accommodating and always seem happy. Highly recommend! Verified Stunning views Stayed here for 4 nights and on first impressions driving up the dirt track had reservations but when we were shown to the pool for welcome drinks we were blown away with the view which is absolutely stunning . Now to get to it from reception is a very steep walk so if you had mobility issues this is not the place for you. Breakfast was included which unfortunately is not great, only one choice and my first day I asked for a tuna and cheese omelette with tomato on the side but when it arrived had no cheese just tuna in this strange gravy which we have found in the Philippines they like to put it on food without mentioning it so this had to be sent back Lunch isn’t much better I had spaghetti marinara which was very dry and seafood chewy which is a shame as this is what lets the hotel down in my option although my friend enjoyed her burger and Caesar salad so maybe it’s just me On the plus side drinks are inexpensive and happy hour is 4-6pm which is great to watch the amazing sunset from your lounger with a drink in hand Free shuttle is handy for getting into town and tuk tuks only 150 pesos to get back later Vanilla beach is only 10 mins in a tuk tuk which is lovely Beds are comfy and rooms spacious and clean but we stayed in room 1 and one night we could hear very clearly someone murdering karaoke all night on the bar below and also the cockerels are noisy from very very early on which doesn’t make for a good sleep, no fault of the hotel but worth bearing in mind if you get a lower room The owner is very helpful and provided us with handy information to get the best from our stay plus all staff so friendly Really enjoyed it here and I could just lay and stare out at the view all day 😍Verified We went there for out 30th wedding anniversary. Had one of the best experiences at Karuna El Nido Villas. We had booked Joglo 3 which had amazing and unobstructed views. It was very spacious. After looking around in the property i think this one had best views. Friendly staff, quick responses on WhatsApp and timely free shuttle service. Only thing was that the water in bathroom and tab had a weird smell. We let management know about it. Could have more breakfast options and not just restrict to 1 item per person. We also noted that Karuna Glamping had cheaper tuktuk prices for airport and Nacpan beach. I enjoyed the Bali-style decor. You can book tours directly through them, which was a bonus. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, though most days, they had at least 1-2 items from the menu unavailable. The transportation to town was complimentary as it was a 30 minute walk into the downtown. There are other forms of transportation for hire though. You just have to walk down the hill. The staff were friendly, greeting us in passing, and spoke English. The pool and restaurant had great views, so did the balconies from our rooms.Verified Relatively new Glamping Villa Experience My kids were very happy to experience glamping for the first time in the relatively new glamping villas of Karuna El Nido. Their staff were helpful and accommodating, the food was always satisfying and transportation was provided for guests who wanted to explore other parts of El Nido. Being new, of course there is still a lot of room for improvement in terms of smooth and more excellent service. Having a great view also means it is high up on a hill and when you want to eat in their dining hall, there are a lot of steps to tackle on the stairs. Be ready. Also, this becomes a little bit of inconvenience when it rains. Because it was raining a lot of times when we were there, we did not get to enjoy the outside facilities provided in our villa. There was also some construction work ongoing just below our space so of course that was inconvenient too. The roads are being paved so be ready to tread through muddy roads. We hope to get a chance to visit again and see the improvements already done when we do.Verified Excellent Stay We were a family of 6 when we traveled to El Nido and we booked the Pool Villa in Karuna and were simply blown away by the place. The room had an amazing view, the rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, great amenities, and service was excellent. They provided transportation to and from the town, and all you needed to do was message them through Whatsapp and they were very quick with replying back. All the staff were attentive to your needs, and everyone knew how to do their job well. There were also very clear expectations with the hotel rules, and they were true to their word. When they say they'll be there at 9pm to pick you up, they will be there at 9pm to pick you up. We will gladly stay at Karuna again given the opportunity. If you want a stress-free trip to El Nido, I recommend booking their roundtrip transportation if you are flying into Puerto Princesa, and booking tours with them.Load more
